The Township of Manchester is pleased to announce that municipal buildings will reopen to the public effective June 21, 2021.
It is asked that visitors who are not vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus please wear a face covering and maintain social distancing when inside Township buildings.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our Township offices remained fully staffed and functional even while buildings were closed to the public out of an abundance of caution. Our employees did an exemplary job in finding ways to continue to provide high quality service to our residents.
Residents who do not wish to visit police headquarters may opt to have police reports sent via email for free. Previously filed police reports may be requested by emailing policereports@manchestertwp.com. Provided your report is available, this is the best/fastest way to receive it.
Firearms applications are done online and this again is the best/fastest way to secure all permits or changes. The website is https://www.njportal.com/NJSP/FARS. Be advised that posted on the State Police websites are indications that due to high volume there will be a delay on their end in securing permits/changes.
Please visit www.manchesterpolicenj.com and follow instructions under “Records & Reports” for other important information.
To file a non-emergent police report, this will best be done via the telephone by calling 732-657-6111. A Public Safety Telecommunicator will arrange to have a police officer return your call, as soon as possible.
Emergent matters will be handled in Police Headquarters as usual. As always, 911 should be used in emergency situations.
