On December 29, 2015, at approximately 4:35 p.m., members of the Manchester Township Police Department responded to a residence on Mayfair Road in the Leisure Village West section of Manchester Township for the report of a vehicle which crashed into a residence. Upon arrival, officers learned that the homeowner, Loretta Najmowski, age 94, was returning to her residence when she accelerated as she entered her garage and crashed through the rear exterior wall. Her vehicle, a 1999 Honda Accord, came to final rest partially outside of the garage.

Ms. Najmowski was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not injured. The Manchester Township Building Inspector responded to the scene and deemed the residence habitable. The vehicle was removed from the garage by Accurate Towing with the assistance of Leisure Village West Maintenance personnel.  No other residences were damaged. The crash is being investigated by Ptl. Arthur Cronk of the Patrol Bureau.
