On October 4, 2016, at approximately 3:13 a.m., Officer Brian Volk observed a vehicle traveling westbound on County Road 571 near Commonwealth Blvd. Officer Volk observed an equipment violation and stopped the vehicle with two occupants.
The passenger, 26 year old Sergio Correa of Dunrovin Court, Manchester, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of North Bergen for $120.00. Further investigation revealed the driver, 47 year old William Taylor of Dunrovin Court, was found to be in possession of cocaine.
Correa was arrested and posted bail. Taylor was arrested, issued several motor vehicle summonses, and charged with Possession of Cocaine. He was released on a summons pending a court appearance.
