A Manchester woman, a Lakewood woman and a Plainfield man, were arrested and charged with drug related offenses by the Manchester Township Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Team (N.E.T.) with the assistance of the Manchester Police Patrol Bureau and K-9 unit.

On Friday, January 20, 2017, at approximately 3:51 p.m., the N.E.T. stopped a vehicle in the Ridgway Mobile home park after observing a motor vehicle violation on CR 571. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, an article of drug paraphernalia was observed in the driver’s side compartment of the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle Xiemena Perez-Pernas, age 24 of Lakewood was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia, the front seat passenger Christian Orellana age 26 of Plainfield was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine, and the rear passenger Yuly Gutierrez-Hernandez age 20 of Manchester was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Xiemena Perez-Pernas and Yuly Gutierrez-Harnandez were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending court. Christian Orellana was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Orellana was also released pending court.
