On July 19, 2013, Officer Joseph Reilly was on patrol when he observed a vehicle at the end of Bone Hill Road entering the Heritage Minerals property.  After stopping the vehicle, he ascertained that the 19 year old operator, Matthew Miller Jr. of Cream Ridge, was impaired to the point where he could not operate a motor vehicle safely.  Miller was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.  During the investigation, 23 grams of separately packaged marijuana and several pieces of paraphernalia to include scales and packaging material were seized.  Miller was also charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, two counts of Possession of Paraphernalia, and Criminal Trespass.  Miller was released on summonses.  Miller’s vehicle was seized along with $796 in United States currency.  Officer Michael O’Hara also assisted in the investigation.  This matter is pending court action.
