On Tuesday, May 11 2021, at approximately 2:31 pm, officers of the Manchester Township Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team, arrested Christian Troy, age 34, of Browns Mills, as a result of a narcotics surveillance operation.
 
During the operation, the Manchester Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a motor vehicle stop of Mr. Troy’s 1998 Mercedes Benz in the area of County Route 571 and Pheasant Street. During the course of the stop, officers observed Mr. Troy to be traveling with an infant who was not fastened in a child safety seat. As the investigation continued, Mr. Troy was found to be in possession of approximately 13.5 grams of crack cocaine, 8 grams of methamphetamine and 10 doses of heroin, all packaged for distribution. Mr. Troy’s vehicle was also searched which revealed a digital scale containing Controlled Dangerous Substance residue, and $500 in U.S. currency. Mr. Troy was subsequently arrested without incident.
 
The U.S. currency and Mercedes Benz were seized pending forfeiture application. Mr. Troy was processed and charged with distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of cocaine, additional Controlled Dangerous Substance offenses and child endangerment. Mr. Troy was transported to Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.
Assisting with the investigation were the Ocean County Sheriff’s Officer Vosseller and his K-9 partner, Duke.
