Motor Vehicle Accident reports can be obtained through the Record Section of the Police Division.

The Records Section is open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays).

Completed and approved Motor Vehicle Accident reports can also be accessed on-line 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the Crashdocs.org website for a $5.00 fee. 

Accident reports are generally prepared by patrol and traffic safety officers and are therefore subjected to a review process. This process causes the release of records to be delayed. Anyone requesting a report should first call the Police Division’s Records Section to ascertain if the report is ready for release. The number to contact for this is 732-657-2009, ext. 4500.

There is no charge for Accident Reports emailed or picked up in person at the Police Records window.
