This interactive two (2) day course is designed to train officers selected to serve as Field Training Officers within their respective agencies. The course content includes: roles and responsibilities of the FTO; leadership and supervision; communication skills; training methodologies; counseling techniques, methods for standardized performance evaluations; The course will incorporate role playing and video based scenarios in order to enhance the students ability to train and evaluate newly appointed officers.
