On 09/16/2013 at 3:15 PM, police responded to the 3400 block of Ridgeway Road for a reported theft of a motor vehicle. According to Officer Kyle Rickvalsky, a 2003 Silver Nissan Xterra, valued at $4,000.00 bearing New Jersey Registration (ZSM97A), was stolen from the driveway of 3480 Ridgeway Road. The owner of the Nissan stated his vehicle was parked in the driveway when he left for work. When he returned from work, the Nissan was no longer there. The vehicle was said to have been unlocked and the keys were located inside the Nissan at the time of the theft. Officer Rickvalsky notified surrounding police agencies and had the vehicle entered into the National Crimes Information Center. On the same date at 5:00 PM, Toms River Police located this vehicle at the intersection of Hooper Ave and Brokaw Blvd. Toms River Police stated the female driver, later identified as 32 year old Deje M. Coviello, who resides on the 3000 Block of Ridgeway Road in Manchester, was passed out sitting in the driver seat. Coviello was arrested by Toms River Police and charged with DWI. She was subsequently transported by Toms River Police to Community Hospital for further treatment. Officer Rickvalsky charged Coviello with Theft and Burglary of the motor vehicle. He later filed charges against Coviello in Toms River for possession of stolen property. She was later served with the charges at the hospital and released on her own recognizance.
