The Manchester Township Police are continuing to search for an attempted carjacking suspect.  The Police are exhausting all leads in an attempt to identify the suspect carjacker depicted in the composite sketch.  On July 24, 2013, members of the Manchester Township Police Investigations Bureau, Patrol Division and Auxiliary Officers conducted an extensive door to door canvas handing out over 700 flyers with a request for assistance in identifying the suspect.  The flyers contained the date and approximate time of the incident, the suspect’s physical descriptors, composite sketch, and a request to have those residents that have home video surveillance systems review their systems for any suspicious activity on the date of the incident.  In the door to door canvas and search, the areas focused on were the residences in the Ridgeway section of Manchester Township, to include, homes along Ridgeway Rd between State Highway 70 and CR 547, Ridgeway Mobile Homes, Cedar Glen West, Wilbur Ave, Nicoletti Rd, Johnson Ave and abandoned structures.  The New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit consisting of Acting Sgt. Giordano, Tpr. II D. Lynch and Tpr. II J. Jorgensen assisted with a search of the heavily wooded area by flying the NJSP helicopter over the area where the incident occurred.
