On October 1, 2016, at approximately 1855 hours, the Manchester Township Police Department received a call from an employee of the Cafe Napoli Restaurant, located in the Manchester Plaza Shopping Center. The employee reported that a patron had stolen cash from a tip jar located next to the cash register. Patrolmen Patrick Mabie and Kyle Rickvalsky responded to the scene and were advised that the cash, which was estimated to be $20.00 to $30.00 had been stolen by a patron who had paid his bill with a credit card.

Officers were able to identify the suspect through the credit card transaction as Nicholas R. Domenick, age 85 of Manchester Township. The theft was also captured on the restaurant’s surveillance camera system. Domenick was subsequently arrested, charged with theft and released pending court.
