On May 13, 2015, members of the Manchester Township Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team and Investigations Bureau along with the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team executed a Court authorized search warrant at a residence on the 1400 block of Eleventh Avenue in the Pine Lake Park section of the Township.
The four week investigation began after the department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team received complaints about possible heroin distribution from a home on that block. Subsequent investigation led to police obtaining a search warrant for the suspect residence.
During the search, a quantity of heroin, Xanax, hypodermic needles and associated paraphernalia were seized.
Arrested were the following:
- Thomas Pyne, 34, of Eleventh Avenue, Toms River
- Krystal Sherman, 30 of Eleventh Avenue, Toms River
- Frank Evans, 34 of Laurel Avenue, Lakehurst
- Danielle Vicente, 22 of Court A, Brick
All four were charged with possession of heroin, possession of Xanax, possession hypodermic syringes and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Pyne was set at $20,000.00. Additionally, Pyne had an outstanding arrest warrant, for non-payment of child support, issued out of the Ocean County Superior Court. Bail for Sherman and Vicente was set at $7,500.00. Pyne, Sherman and Vicente were transported to Ocean County Jail and Evans was released on a summons.
Also assisting with this investigation were the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit, the Lakewood Police Department and the Patrol Bureau of the Manchester Township Police Department.
