On 07-02-2013 at approximately 1923 hours, Manchester Police responded to a burglary in the Ridgeway section of Manchester Township where two Apple I-Pad’s, along with an engagement ring were stolen.  An Apple I-Pad was able to be tracked by GPS to an Exxon gas station located at 2000 Rt. 66 in Neptune Township. This Apple I-Pad was located in a trash receptacle located on that premises.  After reviewing surveillance footage from the Exxon gas station, images were captured of the suspect who placed the I-Pad into the trash receptacle.  This individual has been identified as Michael L. Lobue. Age 33, from Barnegat N.J.

 

On 08-08-2013, Michael L. Lobue was apprehended at his residence on Cannonball Drive in Barnegat, N.J. as a result of a no bail warrant for a parole violation.   This arrest was effectuated by the Ocean County Regional Swat Team, Barnegat Township Police Department and the N.J. State Parole (Special Operations Group).  Michael Lobue was transferred over to the Manchester Police Department where he was charged for burglary and theft that occurred on July 2, 2013.  After being processed for his arrest, he was transferred to the Ocean County Jail in default of $25,000.00 bail with the no ten percent option.  Detective Sean Langan from Beachwood Police Department worked along with Det. Adam Emmons from the Manchester Police Department Investigations Bureau for similar incidents in Beachwood Borough.  

 

Michael Lobue is being questioned for burglaries and other criminal activity in several jurisdictions to include, Atlantic City, Asbury Park, Absecon, Avon, Beachwood, and Bradley Beach, Howell, Long Branch, Manalapan, Manchester, Point Pleasant and potentially other jurisdictions.
