Manchester Township, Whiting Section NJ- On 12-22-12 at 1554 hours, Manchester Township Police received a call of a single vehicle crash on Route 539 in the area of mile post 26. When patrol officers arrived, they found that a 1991 Toyota Corolla which had been operated by Amanda Waller, age 21 of Forked River, had left the roadway and collided with a utility pole. As a result of the crash, Waller sustained minor injuries and was transported by first aid to Community Medical Center in Toms River for treatment. The crash caused Manchester Police to close County Route 539 for approximately forty minutes. The accident is being investigated by Patrolman George Smith of the Patrol Bureau.
