On December 2, 2012, at 512pm, 94 year old, Nathan Gurman, of Stratford Court, Manchester, was traveling South on Buckingham Drive, near Encore Clubhouse, in his 2005 Toyota Camry. Gurman’s vehicle collided with a 2012 Kia Soul and a 2009 Toyota Sienna causing the Sienna to collide with a 2004 Nissan Sentra. The Soul, Sienna and Sentra were parked and unoccupied on the shoulder of Buckingham Drive. At the time of the collision, 88 year old Annette Gurman, also of Stratford Court, was the front seat passenger of the 2005 Camry. Both Nathan and Annette Gurman were transported to Kimball Medical Center by Quality Medical Transport for complaints of chest pain. The airbags of the Camry were deployed as a result of this collision. Buckingham Drive was closed in both directions for a short time while this incident was being investigated. This crash remains under investigation by Ptl. Paul Bachovchin, of the Traffic Safety Unit.
