On 12/1/12 at 11:42 Hrs. Officer Jesse Hoydis and Officer Micheal Anderson responded to 13 A Buckingham Dr in an attempt to serve a warrant for Lacey Township Police Department. Upon arrival they observed the wanted subject, James C Mcgrath, in the residence and knocked on the door for approximately 10 minutes before he would answer. Once inside the residence, Mr. Mcgrath was advised of his warrant for a violation of a restraining order. Mcgrath argued with the Officers and resisted arrest by not placing his hands behind his back. During the struggle which took the officers and Mcgrath to the ground, Officer Hoydis suffered a minor injury to his left wrist. Mr. Mcgrath was then transported to police headquarters where he was processed for the warrant and additionally charged with Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing. Bail was set at $5000.00 and posted by Bontempo Bail Bonds. Mr. Mcgrath was released and the case is pending court.
