At 12:32 hours on October 9, 2012, a 2012 Toyota Yaris, being operated by Alvina M. Bigos, (age 79) of Manchester, NJ was traveling in the Applebee’s parking lot at 1055 NJ Route 70. Ms Bigos may have had a medical condition when the vehicle she was operating, impacted a 2010 Hyunda, which was parked in the lot, owned by Walter Higgins, also of Manchester. Ms. Bigos was traveling with her son, Steven Bigos did not sustain any injuries. Ms. Bigos was transported to Community Medical Center for medical care. The impact was at a slow rate of speed and there was little visible damage to either vehicle. Assisting at the scene were, Manchester First Aid and MONOC Paramedics. This crash is under investigation by Ptl. Douglas Higgins, Traffic Safety Officer.
