On March 2, 2014, at approximately 7:00 pm, Manchester Police received a call of a pedestrian struck on Falmouth Avenue near the intersection of Central Drive. Ptl. Christian Nazario and Ptl. Brian Volk arrived and found 57 year old, Cynthia Lovanyak, of Whiting, lying in the roadway suffering from an apparent injury. The investigation revealed that Lovanyak was walking her dog on Falmouth Avenue when she was struck by 2004 Mercedes Benz 240, operated by Raymond Mombelardi, an 87 year old male from Brick Township. The Mercedes was traveling east on Falmouth Avenue when the collision occurred. The dog was not injured.
