On January 24, 2013, the Manchester Township Investigations Bureau executed a court authorized knock and announce search warrant on Madison Avenue in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester Township. The month long investigation concentrated on the distribution of marijuana from that residence. Further investigation revealed a suspect, 24 years old, Daykwayn L. Morris, was in possession of over an ounce of marijuana that was individually packaged as well as drug paraphernalia, to include packaging materials, and a scale. Morris was subsequently arrested and charged with one count each of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Morris was then transported to Ocean County Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 bail with a no ten percent option. Also, assisting in the investigation was the Manchester Township Patrol Bureau and Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9.
