Manchester Police were notified by a 911 caller that a single car crashed into, and severed, a utility pole on Ridgeway Blvd near Ridge Rd. The crash occurred on Saturday January 19, at approximately 5:41 am. When Ptl Adam Guker arrived, he found the driver, Karl Kovacofsky, 30, of Manchester Twp, outside of his overturned 2002 Nissan Altima. Kovackofsky was not injured in the crash. An on scene investigation determined that Kovackofsky was driving under the influence. He was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI. He was served motor vehicle summonses and released pending municipal court.
