A 43 year old Township resident was arrested and charged for Hindering Her Own Apprehension on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Sarah Postorino, of the Pine Ridge development in Whiting, NJ, was arrested by Officer Steven Wendruff after she was stopped on County Road 530 near Manchester Blvd. During the stop, Sarah Postorino provided a false name to officers. The name she provided had outstanding warrants and she was subsequently placed under arrest. During the investigation, Officer Wendruff learned that Sarah Postorino was not who she said she was, and additional warrants were found for her real name. Sarah Postorino had four outstanding warrants totaling, $3,955.55. She was issued several motor vehicle summonses and charged with Hindering Her Own Apprehension. Sarah Postorino was transferred over to the New Jersey State Police. This matter is pending court action.
